We know that quality beer is at the heart of every good pub, and so with this in mind, we provide pints of only the finest ales at The Corner House. Using local suppliers is key to what we do, which means we’re proud to source draft ales from local breweries such as Arundel Brewery, Dark Star, Harvey’s Lewes, Langham Brewery and Burning Sky. Offering ales supplied by establishments in the Sussex area mean that not only are we supporting local business, but we’re familiar with where the beers come from, so we know they’re the best!
A firm favourite of ours at The Corner House is Whitstable Bay from The Faversham Steam Brewery. Although from slightly further afield, this pale ale always goes down well at the bar, and is made by Britain’s oldest brewer, based in the Kent market town of Faversham.
One of our main attractions at the bar is Bedlam Brewery’s brand new Pilsner lager, a craft beer we are thrilled to be exclusively offering at The Corner House. Based near Brighton, Bedlam Brewery creates their cask beers with a passion for looking after the environment at their heart, generating their own energy via solar panels and growing their own hops on-site. Founded in 2012 and now under the direction of Dominic Worrall, the brewery has made a solid name for themselves in the craft beer market, and have their sights set on expansion. Their Pilsner lager brewed to 4.2%, is an original recipe created by the experienced German head brewer Fabio Israel, and is a must try for all beer lovers.
We have also recently been awarded a prestigious Cask Marque accreditation in recognition of our commitment to serving a perfect pint.
If beer isn’t your thing, there’s no need to worry – we’ve got an excellent selection of ciders, spirits, and handpicked wine for you to choose from. Whatever your favourite tipple, our well stocked bar can cater for it.
